Hannah Biffle

Dear Mr. Tom and Mary Aldridge,

I am delighted to introduce myself, and have the opportunity to express my sincere gratitude and thankfulness for your generous contribution to my education.  My name is Hannah Biffle. I was raised in Glenpool, Oklahoma, a small town right on the outskirts of Tulsa. I attended Glenpool Public Schools from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade, and was honored to represent my class at graduation as Valedictorian. As soon as my high school experience came to an end, I was ecstatic about the journey I was soon to embark upon at The University of Oklahoma!

At the start of my freshman year, my declared major was biology, and I had intentions to go to medical school. However, as the year continued I began to question if this was the right path for me. I consulted many advisors and decided to enter the college of business. I am now a majoring in finance and minoring in biology, and I could not be more at peace with my decision. I have thoroughly enjoyed the business courses I have taken so far, and have been intrigued with the course material. This year I continue my journey here at OU as a junior. I am thrilled to be enrolled in my upper division financial courses, and take on the new learning experiences and challenges the Price College of Business has to offer.

I anticipate receiving my Bachelor Degree in the Fall of 2017. Following graduation, I aspire to continue my academic endeavors through The University of Oklahoma’s Duel Degree Program. This program will grant me the opportunity to work towards obtaining a Juris Doctor degree from the College of Law and a Master of Health Administration from the college of Public Health, over the span of four years.

My education and achieving my academic goals has and will continue to be one of my top priorities, despite all obstacles. I am personally financing all of my college expenses by working throughout my time here at the University of Oklahoma. I am humbled and overwhelmed with thankfulness to receive your gracious donation. This scholarship will ease my financial worries, and grant me the opportunity to devote ample time focusing on my studies, and ultimately working towards achieving my long-term academic goals.

Words cannot express my sincere gratitude to you for this benevolent scholarship. I aspire to put myself in the position, in that future, which will allow me to be an alumni donor and change a student’s life, like you have mine. Once again, with a grateful and appreciative heart, Mr. Tom and Mary Aldridge thank you so very much.

Sincerely,

Hannah Biffle

To Whom It May Concern,

I could not be more thankful for the Tom & Mary Kate Aldridge Scholarship.

Thanks to your generosity, realizing my dream of graduating college with a degree in International Business is possible for me. I am able to work less hours and direct more of my focus to academics and discovering where my place is in this world. Your generosity is what motivates me when I feel overwhelmed and inspires me to be generous as well.

I cannot express the gratitude and appreciation I have for those who contributed to my education. Scholarships like these help me reach my full potential, and push me towards reaching my career goals.

Sincerely,

Tori Brock
